The sister candle to SURYA AST, lighting this candle will transport you to a cool, fresh morning, surrounded by clouds and a myriad of bright green leaves. You'll picture yourself waking to the risking of the sun, a soft, gentle glow in the sky, reflected in dewy droplets on palm fronds and a canopy of trees.
SURYA UDAY is inspired by cool winter mornings in India. Scents of herbaceous bay laurel and the soft aroma of unopened jasmine buds floating in the light breeze. Indian sandalwood adds a woody, balsamic richness. Chamomile roman brings a sweet fruity warmth, rounding off the fragrance. This candle is perfect for creating emotional balance, supporting a space of healing and promoting well-being.
This candle contains a high percentage of two extremely precious essential oils - jasmine and sandalwood. Jasmine absolute is the highest quality form of jasmine fragrance oil. To create just one gram of jasmine essential oil requires the distillation of more than 1,000 jasmine flowers and capturing its rich floral scent demands extreme skill. Sandalwood is highly valued and is one of the most expensive woods in the world. Due to its lengthy maturation period of up to forty years and increasing demand and reduced availability, Indian sandalwood is an extremely sacred oil. For this reason, SURYA UDAY is a special, limited edition scent that will only be available for purchase for a short period to celebrate our launch.
Each candle is created with its own unique, handcrafted scent made with high quality, pure, aromatherapy-grade essential oils. Using coconut, olive and candelilla wax which carry each scent beautifully and a wick made from 100% pure cotton, these candles are completely non-toxic and burn cleanly and evenly. These 180ml/6oz candles have a burn time of approximately 45-50 hours. Each order comes with a 100% cotton drawstring bag with our logo printed on it.
